Jaunpur, July 27 (HS). State Minister (Independent Charge) Sports and Youth Welfare Girish Chandra Yadav on Saturday inspected the beautification work of Hanuman Ghat and Bajrang Ghat through Sadbhavna Bridge being done by Namami Gange. During the inspection, the State Minister inquired about the progress of the work. He directed that a road and drain of coarse stone be built from Sadbhavna Bridge to Hanuman Ghat. Green plants should be planted on the banks of the Ghat. Along with this, land should be marked on Hanuman Ghat and changing rooms and toilets should be built.
Minister Girish Chandra Yadav said that encroachment on the ghat should be removed and parking arrangements should be made. A proposal to build ghats on both sides from Sadbhavana to Shastri Bridge has been sent to the government. Ghats are being developed from the tourism point of view. The Minister of State has appealed to the people of the district that it is everyone's personal responsibility to keep the district clean, so keep the garbage at the right place and cooperate in keeping the district clean.
