Hamirpur, 06 November (HS). On Wednesday, the family members, along with other workers, created a ruckus at the factory gate, alleging negligence in the treatment of a factory worker who was seriously injured in an accident while working in the Rimjhim factory of Sumerpur, which has always been in the news. Family members say that doctors have advised amputation of the leg to save life. The factory management is reluctant to provide treatment.

50 year old Devnarayan Yadav, resident of Rohua village of Bhamua district of Bihar province, works as a gas cutter in Rimjhim Steel Factory of Bharua Sumerpur. His family lives in a rented house in Sumerpur. The laborer's wife Manju Devi told that her husband suffered a serious injury on his left leg while working on October 9. He has been admitted to Halat in Kanpur for treatment. One month has passed since the incident, but due to the negligence of the factory management in providing treatment, the situation has now reached the point of amputation of the leg. Doctors say that if the leg is not amputated, the infection will spread throughout the body, which can lead to death. On Wednesday, Manju Devi reached the factory gate along with her two sons Roshan Yadav and Rahul Yadav. Fellow laborers were also informed about the entire incident. After which there was anger among the factory workers towards the management. Manju Devi along with the workers started creating ruckus at the gate. He has appealed to the factory management to bear the expenses of treatment and to help his family in case he becomes disabled. Factory manager Manoj Gupta says that the allegations of the family members are baseless. There has been no negligence in treatment. Treatment is being done on the advice of doctors.
