Indore, June 05 (HS). On the occasion of World Environment Day, a tree plantation program was organized in Lalbagh premises on the initiative of Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Silawat on Wednesday. Urban Development Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya, Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Silawat, along with religious leader Anna Maharaj, Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava and other prominent people of the society, planted 101 saplings.
On this occasion, Padma Shri Sushil Doshi, Padma Shri Mir Ranjan Negi, Vice Chancellor of Devi Ahilya University Renu Jain, Purushottam Das Pasari and a large number of environment loving citizens were present. Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya also administered oath to the people present for the protection of environment on this occasion. The program was conducted by councilor Yogesh Gainder.
