Indore: Major action against illegal colony developers, encroachment removed from government land worth 150 crores | News India

Indore, August 24 (HS). In Indore, continuous action is being taken under the direction of Collector Ashish Singh against those who encroach upon government land and other lands and those who encroach upon them illegally. In this connection, on Saturday, the district administration took a major action and freed government land worth more than 150 crore rupees from encroachment. This land is registered in the government records as Peer Sthan.

SDM Ghanshyam Dhangar of Juni Indore area informed that land Khasra number 370, area 0.866 hectare situated in village Khajrani tehsil Juni Indore, Indore, which is registered in the name of Government Settlement Administrator Collector Indore in the revenue records, was sold by Ashok Bhai son Lal Bhai Gujarati to a total of 13 persons on the said land. The land holders were encroaching and illegally developing a colony by constructing boundary wall and road on the said sold plots. Which was freed from encroachment by the team of District Administration and Municipal Corporation Indore on the instructions of Collector Ashish Singh on Saturday and possession was taken in favour of the government. Also, a notice board was put up for the general public to inform about the government's ownership on the said land. The market value of the said land is more than 150 crores. The action was taken by SDM Juni Indore Ghanshyam Dhangar and Tehsildar Shivshankar Jaroliya.
