In the meeting, Collector Ashish Singh reviewed the every village employment program, Divyang portal, Bhikshavriti Abhiyan etc.
It was told in the meeting that special camps will be organized on 29th September in the tehsil offices to take lease related applications from the citizens living in the villages included in the Indore Municipal Corporation limits. For this, collector Ashish Singh directed to do extensive publicity in the concerned area and said that local public representatives should also be informed about the said process. The collector has appealed to the citizens of the 29 villages, along with other such villages whose population is included in the Indore Municipal Corporation boundary area, to reach the tehsil offices on 29th September and apply for obtaining lease under land tenure rights.
It was informed in the meeting that action has been initiated regarding granting lease on inhabited land in the boundary area of Indore Municipal Corporation. In Indore district, in the year 2014, the boundary was increased by including 29 villages in Indore Municipal Corporation. Apart from this, there are some other parts of the city which were inhabited villages before being included in the Municipal Corporation boundary. The occupants of the home site in the inhabited land of these villages are the occupants. Such occupants or their heirs/transferees who do not have a lease can obtain a lease as per eligibility by submitting an application form under the right of tenure. It is noteworthy that instructions to this effect were given by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav in a meeting held in Indore recently.
At present, the landowners who are residing in the inhabited land situated in these 29 villages falling under the municipal corporation limits by building houses, face inconvenience in selling the house, getting loan for building a house due to not having registry, lease or other documents available with them. Such persons can submit application form under tenure on the basis of circular dated 24 September 2020 issued by the Revenue Department. On the said application form, they will be given a lease for 30 years, so that they can easily get loan on the said building as per the requirement and can sell or transfer it. In this regard, maximum number of application forms will be received by setting up camps in Tehsil Juni Indore, Malharganj, Rau, Bichauli Hapsi and Kanada on 29 September 2024 (Sunday). Copy of the application form and list of required documents will be available in the tehsil offices. Eligible beneficiaries will be benefited by providing lease under tenure after investigation.
It was told that online applications for lease will be taken in the camp. The applicant will have to bring the necessary documents. The applicant will have to bring documents like electricity bill, water supply bill, any correspondence/document issued by any government office or undertaking related to the plot, address mentioned in Census 2011, property tax receipt issued by the local authority, name/address mentioned in the voter list for proof.
