Indore, June 09 (HS). A free health checkup camp was organized for women on Sunday at Indore's Roberts Nursing Home. In this camp, famous gynecologist Dr. Vijaysen Yashalha explained to women the methods of self-examination of breast cancer. He said that women should be aware and cautious about cancer. They should not panic about this disease. Get the test done immediately if the symptoms appear. Treatment becomes possible if the disease is detected on time. Women can check for breast cancer themselves. More than 125 women were made aware in the camp.
In the camp, specialist doctors of various diseases examined the health of the women and treated them. Also, women were made aware by giving them information about prevention of cancer. A large number of women benefited from the camp.
The camp was inaugurated by Roberts Nursing Home Secretary Dr. Vijaysen Yashalha and Rotary District Governor Ritu Grover. It was told that free tests for cancer in women were also conducted in the camp. These tests were conducted through Pap smear and mammography. The arrangements for Pap smear and mammography were made by Dr. Vinod Bhandari of Aurobindo Hospital. Dr. Yashalha, Dr. Nilesh Dalal, Dr. Namita Shukla, Dr. Priyanka Jain conducted health check-up of women in the camp.
Dr. Yashalha also told women the methods of checking breast cancer. She said that there is a need to be alert and aware about cancer. Do not be afraid of cancer. Get tested immediately if the initial symptoms appear. If this disease is detected in the early stages, then treatment is possible. In the camp, hemoglobin, blood sugar and other expensive tests of the women were also done. On this occasion, 130 women got their health checked. The camp was organized by Roberts Nursing Home, Rotary Club of Indore Royals and Obstetrics and Gynecology Society. In the camp, all the members of Rotary Club Royals had prepared for the entire camp for several days and made such expensive tests accessible to these women. Emcure Company conducted free hemoglobin tests of the women.
