Indore, May 17 (HS). Programs will be organized to honor talented students in the districts of Indore division. In the division, online coaching will be arranged district wise for the students studying from class 10th to 12th for the preparation of competitive examinations, along with this, counseling will also be done for these students. Special attention will be given to the education of weak children by identifying them from the beginning of the academic session in the division. Eklavya schools running in the districts of the division will be developed on the lines of CM Rise schools.
This information was given by Divisional Commissioner Deepak Singh in the joint review meeting of School Education and Tribal Welfare Department here on Friday. Joint Director Public Instruction Arvind Singh, Deputy Commissioner Tribal Welfare Brajesh Pandey, District Education Officer posted in the districts of the division, District Project Coordinator and Assistant Commissioner Tribal Welfare and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
In the meeting, Divisional Commissioner Deepak Singh said that education is an important subject related to the life and future of children. Negligence in the education system will not be tolerated under any circumstances. He instructed the officials to pay special attention to the quality of education and career development of children. Start all preparations for the new academic session from now. Guest teachers should be appointed everywhere against the vacant posts of teachers. He discussed improving exam results and preparing for competitive exams. Apart from this, hostel-ashram arrangements, completion of construction works before monsoon, proper utilization of budget allocation, payment of pension rights of employees etc. were also discussed.
In the meeting, the Divisional Commissioner reviewed the district-wise examination results of government schools for the recently concluded academic session 2023-24. During this, he instructed that all the officers should carefully review the examination results in their respective districts. Action should be taken against the heads of educational institutions who give poor results during the review. Also give your suggestions for qualitative improvement in the quality of education. All districts should also innovate in this subject. It should be ensured that text books, uniforms, cycles, laptops etc. are distributed to the students on time. All officers should also ensure that students get scholarships on time.
