Divisional Commissioner Deepak Singh reached the Collector's office on Saturday under the Revenue Maha Abhiyan launched for quick resolution of revenue cases on the initiative of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. Here he held a meeting of revenue officers of Indore district and also inspected various revenue courts. Collector Ashish Singh and other concerned officers were present on this occasion.
The Divisional Commissioner first held a meeting with the revenue officers in the Collector's office. He reviewed the progress of the Revenue Maha Abhiyan in the meeting. He directed that the Revenue Maha Abhiyan should be implemented effectively with priority. Accomplish the targets of the campaign within the stipulated time frame. Old pending revenue cases should be resolved on priority. In the meeting, he expressed satisfaction over the progress of work being done under the Revenue Abhiyan in Indore district. He said that the revenue officers should regularly visit their respective areas. Set up camps in villages. Establish direct communication with the villagers and discuss regarding the resolution of revenue cases. Listen to their revenue related problems and resolve them on the spot.
While reviewing the recovery of diversion tax, Divisional Commissioner Deepak Singh directed to pay special attention to small defaulters as well. Arrangements should be made for recovery of diversion tax just like property tax. Indore should become a model district for this. Arrangement for online recovery of diversion tax should also be established. Data of property tax should be taken and used in recovery of diversion tax. He also reviewed the progress of Samagra e KYC, map amendment, undisputed name transfer and undisputed partition, record correction, ownership scheme etc. In the meeting, the collector gave information about the progress of Revenue Maha Abhiyan.
Divisional Commissioner inspected the Revenue Courts
After the meeting, Divisional Commissioner Deepak Singh also inspected various revenue courts. He inspected the sub-divisional revenue courts of Malharganj, Juni Indore and Rau area located in the Collector's office. He also inspected the Tehsildar Court of Malharganj. He saw the Daayra Register in the said courts. He obtained information about the resolution of the cases registered in it. He also took information about the cases being resolved through the RCMS portal. He directed that under the campaign, special attention should be paid to the resolution of old pending cases and they should be resolved on priority.
Inspection of the record room
The Divisional Commissioner also inspected the record room located in the basement of the Collector's office. He saw the various arrangements of the record room. He also obtained information about the records of the Misal settlement. He instructed that special attention should be paid to the security of the records kept in the record room. The record room should be made better and safer. On this occasion, Additional Collector Gaurav Benal, Sapna Lovanshi, Roshan Rai, Rajendra Raghuvanshi, Nisha Damor and other officers were also present.
