Indore: Annual International Conference of NCED-India 2024 begins

Indore, June 26 (HS). The annual international conference of NCED-India 2024 started on Wednesday at Indore's Aurobindo Hospital. Many research papers will be presented in this conference till June 28, 2024. Along with this, many activities and discussions are also being organized for special teachers. NCED is a national level association of special teachers, teacher trainers and associated members working for the betterment of education of hearing impaired children. The theme of this conference, organized for the first time by the MP chapter, is “Global to Local Perspectives on Language, Literacy, Policies for Deaf Disabled Persons”.

The NCED conference was inaugurated by Dr. Vinod Bhandari of Aurobindo Medical College. He gave his best wishes for the conference and also requested the experts present in the conference to give suggestions for the audiology speech courses being run in Aurobindo Hospital.

President of All India Mahila Sabha Sharda Mandloi greeted the participants of the conference and wished Madhya Pradesh to move ahead in special education in the same way. On this occasion, founder Dr. Usha Punjabi Indore Deaf Bilingual Academy emphasized the importance of Indian Sign Language in the education of hearing impaired children. Joint Director Social Welfare Department Suchita Tirki also emphasized the important role of special teachers in the contribution of hearing impaired children.

Saksham's National Vice President Kamalakant Pandey told about the work of the Ministry of Social Justice and Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities of the Government of India. NCED India President Subhada Barde wished the conference well and also appreciated the contribution of NCED India and MP Chapter members. MP Chapter Secretary Sunil Singh Tomar welcomed everyone and MP Chapter President Monika Punjabi Verma expressed gratitude to everyone.

NCED conference has maximum and active participation of special educators and rehabilitation professionals of hearing impaired children. This international CRE conference approved by Rehabilitation Council of India, New Delhi is being hosted by MP Chapter in Indore this time. The annual National Conference of Educators of the Deaf (NCED-India) is one of the most important academic conferences held in our country in the field of education and empowerment of hearing impaired children. It is a unique opportunity for all teachers of the deaf and allied professionals to meet under a common platform and share their experiences and expertise, views and news.

The annual international conference of NCED-India 2024 is going to be a truly memorable event. More than 100 special educators, experts and rehabilitation professionals of hearing impaired children from India and abroad are participating in this conference. NCED MP Chapter is also publishing a souvenir on this occasion on 28 June 2024.
