Indivar Vajpayee becomes president of Kanpur Bar Association

Kanpur, 26 October (Hindustan Reporter). After the Kanpur Bar Association elections, the results were declared late on Saturday evening. While Indeevar Vajpayee won the post of President, Amit Singh won the post of General Secretary. After the election results came, there was a wave of happiness among the advocate supporters.

The results of Kanpur Bar Association elections were declared late in the evening. The election for the post of President was in the name of Indivar Vajpayee. He defeated his nearest rival Dinesh Kumar Shukla by a margin of 533 votes. Dinesh Kumar Shukla got 1534 votes and Indeevar got 2067 votes. Sarvesh Kushwaha remained at third position with 634 votes. Despite a close contest for the post of General Secretary, Amit Singh was declared victorious. Amit Singh got 1293 votes and his nearest rival Binay Kumar Mishra got 1257 votes. Sushil Kumar Singh stood third and got a total of 1103 votes. After the election results of the association were declared, there was a wave of happiness among the advocates supporting the office bearers and a round of congratulations started.
