India Canada News: Canada made serious allegations against Indian Home Minister Amit Shah. To which India has given a befitting reply today. The Indian Foreign Ministry has said that 'On Friday, an official of the Canadian High Commission was summoned in protest against baseless allegations.'
There has been a dispute going on between Canada and India for a long time regarding the Khalistan movement. In such a situation, Canadian Minister David Morrison has accused Home Minister Amit Shah. David alleged that the Khalistani terrorist was killed on the orders of Home Minister Amit Shah. In response, India has said that such allegations are completely baseless and nonsense.
It is noteworthy that due to Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, tension between India and Canada is continuously increasing. Hardeep was shot dead in Canada on 18 June 2023. Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau has alleged that the Indian government and government officials were involved in this murder. However, India has consistently denied these allegations.
This month, Canada had alleged that Indian diplomats were involved in Hardeep's murder. After which India recalled High Commissioner Sanjay Kumar Verma and six other diplomats back to India.
