The main goal of India and Iran is to increase maritime cooperation. Indian Navy said that the naval fleet has reached Bandar Abbas of Iran. The fleet consists of INS Tir, INS Shardul and ICGS Veera.

Earlier this year, Iranian training flotilla ships Bushehr and Tonab arrived in Mumbai. In February, Iranian Navy ship Dana also took part in a naval exercise.

India has good relations with both Iran and Israel

Closeness to Israel and rapprochement with Iran are seen as India's prudent foreign policy. Before the Iranian attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also talked to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on phone. What is important here is that India has good relations with both Israel and Iran, as do Russia and Ukraine. There are very few countries in the world which have good relations with both the parties. One thing is also that India has also invested heavily in Chabahar Port of Iran.
