Russia has already supported India

India says, 'The Security Council of 15 countries, established in 1945, is not fit for the purposes of the 21st century. It does not reflect contemporary geopolitical realities. India believes that the world's largest democracy also has the right to become a permanent member of the Security Council.
These countries supported India's claim
Last month, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, US President Joe Biden and French President Emmanuel Macron supported India's bid for permanent membership in the United Nations Security Council (UNSC). India last became a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council in 2021-22.
