Jodhpur, 27 July (HS). Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla said on Saturday that India's democracy is strong because the judiciary is strong and its credibility has a distinct identity in the country and the world. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, who had come to participate in the seminar organized under the Platinum Jubilee Festival of Rajasthan High Court, was talking informally to journalists at the airport.

He said that our Nyay Yatra is very clear and transparent. In a democracy, when the judiciary is strong, the entire democracy remains strong. The strength of democracy can be gauged from the fact that the budget journey which was started at the time of establishment of democracy for development with Rs. 400 crores has reached 48 lakh thousand crores today.

Rajasthan High Court also has a special place in the judiciary of the country

He said that Rajasthan High Court also has a special place in the judiciary of the country. Many judges of Rajasthan High Court have also played the role of judges in the Supreme Court. Along with this, many advocates practicing in Rajasthan High Court have also proved their mettle in the Supreme Court and International Court.

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will be the keynote speaker of this seminar organized on the role of technology in empowering the justice system on the occasion of the platinum jubilee of Rajasthan High Court. Guests in the program will be Supreme Court Justice Pankaj Mittal, Justice Sandeep Mehta, Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court MM Shrivastava, former Justice of Rajasthan High Court SS Shinde.

Solicitor General Tushar Mehta and Rajasthan Law Minister Jogaram Patel and Justice Pushpendra Singh Bhati of Rajasthan High Court will also be present as special guests of the program.
