Rajesh Kumar Sharma, expert on Nepal-India affairs and president of India-Nepal Social Cultural Forum, said that from Wednesday, an agreement was signed between the operator of 'Phone Pay' in Nepal and India's National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI). . , After the agreement, this facility has started from Wednesday itself. Under this, customers can make payment through Nepal QR using India's 'BHIM' UPI and 'Phone Pay' service. To avail this service, international UPI payment has to be activated in 'Phone Pay' and 'BHIM' app. After this, you will be able to come to Nepal and make payment by scanning the QR of 'Phone Pay'.

At present the people of Nepal will not get facilities when they come to India.

According to 'Phone Pay', inland payment facilities have started in more than half a dozen banks including e-service, Khalti Wallet in Nepal. Payment can be taken from the Indian customer in the 'Phone Pay' QR code distributed to the merchants of this financial institution. However, Nepali citizens have not yet got this facility in India. Nepal is awaiting approval from Rastra Bank to accept QR payments through Nepali 'Phone Pay'.
