Indians in Russian Army: Indian citizen Asfan died in Russia-Ukraine war, embassy confirmed

New Delhi: The war between Russia and Ukraine is not ending. Both the countries have been at war for the last two years and both are implementing their own strategies to move forward decisively against each other. Meanwhile an Indian citizen died. In such a situation, efforts will be made to bring the body of the Indian citizen to India.

'Embassy in contact with Russian authorities'

According to the Indian Embassy, ​​the mission will try to send the body of the Indian citizen to India. The Indian Embassy posted on 'X' and informed about the death of Indian citizen Mohammad Asfan. The embassy said,

“We have learned about the tragic death of Mohammad Asfan, an Indian national. We are in touch with the family and Russian authorities. The mission will try to send his body to India.”

20 Indians trapped in Russian army!

Recently, while giving information about the Indians trapped in the Russian Army, the Ministry of External Affairs had said that we are making every possible effort to save them. External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said,

“We believe that 20 people went to serve in the Russian army as auxiliaries or support staff. We are making every possible effort to get them out.”

Randhir Jaiswal had instructed people not to go to the war zone. He said that they should not go to war zone or get caught in a situation which is difficult. We are committed to the well-being of all our people.
