New Delhi: Due to the ongoing tension between Iran and Israel, India has issued a travel advisory for its citizens. A statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs said that in view of the current situation, all Indians are advised not to travel to Iran or Israel until further notice.
The Ministry of External Affairs issued a notification on Friday asking Indians to avoid traveling to Iran and Israel until further notice. The advisory comes amid reports that Iran could attack Israel within the next 48 hours.
The ministry has requested Indians who are currently living in Iran or Israel to contact Indian embassies and get themselves registered. The Ministry of External Affairs said, “They are also requested to take full care of their security and keep their activities to a minimum.”
