Indian team coach got angry at the journalist who asked questions on a 27-year-old incident, know what is the matter

Rahul Dravid: In the T20 World Cup 2024, the Indian team will play its first Super-8 match against Afghanistan. This match is to be played in Barbados today i.e. on 20 June. Before this match, Team India's head coach Rahul Dravid looked upset during the press conference. Dravid looked angry at a question from the reporter. The reporter asked Rahul Dravid a question related to a 27-year-old Test match, but this question refreshed Dravid's old pain.

Rahul Dravid looked angry during the press conference before the Super-8 match between the Indian team and Afghanistan in Barbados. During the press conference, the reporter asked Rahul Dravid a question. This made Dravid angry. The reporter reminded Dravid of his poor statistics, to which Dravid replied, but his mood showed that he did not like the question at all.

The reporter asked Dravid that the India-Afghanistan match in Super-8 is to be played in Barbados. You must have memories of the 1997 Test match at this place. On this issue, coach Dravid replied, 'Thank you friend. I have some memories associated with this place.' After this, the reporter told Dravid that now you would like to make new memories at Kensington Oval. On this, Dravid said, Oh God… I do not want to make any new memories.

It is worth noting that when Rahul Dravid came to Barbados in 1997, the Indian team faced West Indies. In the first innings of that Test, Dravid scored 78 runs and in the second innings, he scored only 2 runs. The Indian team lost that Test match by 38 runs.

Recalling this Test match, Rahul Dravid later said in a press conference that I forget things quickly. This is my habit. I am not looking back. I am just thinking about what I am doing right now. I do not care what happened in 1997 or any other year.
