Indian stock market fell 941 points, Sensex-Nifty closed with a gap.

The Indian stock market closed on the red mark today i.e. Monday, 04 November. Even in the morning the market opened with a loss of more than 600 points. Today there was a continuous decline in the market throughout the day. However, after some recovery in the afternoon, it once again closed with a rise. Sensex closed at 78,782.24 with a fall of 942 points or 1.18 percent.

Apart from this, NSE's Nifty fell by 309 points or 1.27 percent and closed at 23,995.35. It was a tsunami like day for the Indian stock market. Nifty, Sensex, Nifty Bank and Midcap indices closed with losses.

Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 24 closed with decline and 6 closed with gains. Apart from this, out of 50 shares of Nifty, 42 shares declined and only 8 shares closed with gains.

If we look at the market cap of BSE, trading on Bombay Stock Exchange closed with Rs 442.02 lakh crore and out of 4199 shares, trading closed with a fall of 2713 shares. 1354 shares advanced and 132 shares closed unchanged.

Sensex-Nifty surge in Diwali special muhurat trading

On the occasion of Diwali, there was a one-hour special Muhurta trading in the stock market on 1 November. In which Sensex closed at 79,724 with a gain of 335 points. At this time Nifty jumped 99 points and closed at 24,304. After trading, out of all 30 Sensex stocks, 26 stocks rose, while 4 stocks declined. At the same time, 42 out of 50 stocks of Nifty were bullish and only 8 stocks were bullish.
