Indian star player likely to be out of Super-8 match against Afghanistan

T20 World Cup 2024 IND vs AFG: Team India is going to start its Super-8 round from today. The Indian team's first match in Super-8 will be against Afghanistan. After a long break of eight days, Rohit and company will be in action today. One or two changes can be seen in Team India's playing eleven against Afghanistan. Team India has played all its matches in America so far. After this, all the matches of Super-8 will be played in West Indies.

This fast bowler will be dropped

Till now, fast bowlers were getting more help in the matches played in America. Due to this, Team India came on the field with three fast bowlers. Whereas in West Indies, spin bowlers get more help. In such a situation, a fast bowler may be dropped from Team India's playing eleven today. According to reports, fast bowler Mohammad Siraj may be kept out of the playing eleven in the match against Afghanistan. Siraj's performance has not been anything special compared to Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh.

Kuldeep Yadav will enter!

There is a lot of discussion about Team India's playing eleven in the match against Afghanistan. The most discussed topic is who will be captain Rohit Sharma's first choice between Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav. So far, these two have not got a chance to play in a single match.

According to the report, Kuldeep Yadav can benefit Team India more on the spin friendly pitch of West Indies. Even though Chahal has taken more wickets than Kuldeep in IPL, Kuldeep is better when it comes to economy rate. In such a situation, more trust is being shown on Kuldeep instead of Chahal.
