Apart from this, to promote digital payments, Railways is starting the facility of QR code scanner everywhere from food to tickets, fines and parking. With the introduction of this facility, passengers who are caught traveling without tickets will be able to pay the fine by scanning the QR code of the special equipment available with the railway staff.
This step of Railways will provide convenience to the passengers. Apart from this, if passengers are caught traveling without a ticket, they will also be able to pay the fine and avoid going to jail. For this, hand held terminal machines have been given to the railway checking staff. Hand held terminal machines have been dispatched for ticket checking staff. Through these machines, TT will be able to collect fine from any passenger.
