In any case, if the woman does not have a ticket, TTE cannot deboard her from the train.
If for some reason a woman is traveling in a train late at night and has not taken a ticket, has lost the ticket or does not have it with her, then TTE cannot deboard her from the train. If a woman is harassed by the TTE, then in such a situation the woman can complain to the Railway Authority. Thus, traveling without a ticket is a crime.
