Indian Railway Recruitment- Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Northern Railway has released a notification this week for recruitment to the post of Apprentice. Therefore the application process has started from 16th August.
Candidates can apply for these posts till September 16. For this they will have to visit rrcnr.org. According to the notification, a total of 4,096 apprentice posts will be recruited in Northern Railway.
No written exam will be conducted
Therefore no written test will be conducted, rather the candidates will be selected on the basis of screening of their applications. There will be no oral test or interview. Eligibility for RRC NR Recruitment 2024: Candidates having 10th pass and ITI/NCVT certificate can apply for these posts.
Age Limit for RRC NR Recruitment 2024
Talking about the age limit for RRC NR Recruitment 2024, the minimum age of the candidates should be 15 years and maximum 24 years as on 16 September 2024. The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates and 10 years for persons with disabilities.
Talking about the application fee, a fee of Rs 100 has to be deposited to apply. There is no fee for SC, ST, EWS, PWBD and female candidates.
The selection process will be like this
The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of merit list prepared based on the average of percentage marks obtained in both Matriculation/SSC/10th class (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) and ITI examination.
Both will be given equal importance in this. The merit list is expected to be released in November 2024 and the exact date of declaration of the result will be announced in due course.
