Patna, 09 September (HS). Indian Police Service trainee officers of Bihar cadre made a courtesy call on the Director General of Police (DGP) on Monday.
Trainee officers of the 2021-22 batch of the Indian Police Service of Bihar cadre paid a courtesy visit to Director General of Police Alok Raj at Sardar Patel Bhawan in Patna. Additional Director General of Police (Headquarters), Bihar, Jitendra Singh Gangwar and Inspector General of Police (Headquarters), Vinay Kumar were also present on this occasion.
The Indian Police Service trainee officers who met the DGP included Mohibullah Ansari, Kota Kiran Kumar, Shailendra Singh, Atulesh Jha, Abhinav, Divyanjali Jaiswal and Shivam Dhakad. Among the Bihar cadre trainee police officers, Shailendra Singh and Atulesh Jha are originally from Uttar Pradesh, Kota Kiran Kumar is from Telangana, Divyanjali Jaiswal is from Chhattisgarh, Shivam Dhakad is from Madhya Pradesh, Bhavre Diksha Arun is from Maharashtra and Mohibullah Ansari and Abhinav are from Bihar.
All the trainee police officers have joined the Bihar Police Headquarters after completing the second phase of training at the National Police Academy, Hyderabad. Earlier, these trainee officers were given district practical training for 30 weeks. During this period, they also remained in independent charge of rural police stations for 12 weeks. Now they are being associated with the High Court, Patna for a 6-day training, where they will be aware of the functioning of the court.
During the courtesy meeting, Director General of Police, Bihar wished these trainee officers all the best for their future.
