Indian Open Golf from 28th to 31st March, 144 professional golfers from all over the world will participate

New Delhi, March 1 (HS). The Indian Golf Association on Friday announced the schedule of the country's national open and premier golf tournament – ​​the Indian Open, which will be held at the DLF Golf and Country Club in Gurugram from March 28-31.

The tournament will feature 144 professional golfers from across the world, including Aman Raj, Manu Gandas and 31 other Indian participants. However, the list of players for the event is still not confirmed.

After a three-year hiatus from 2020 to 2022 due to COVID-19 restrictions, the tournament returned to DLF GC in 2023, where German player Marcel Siem won. The tournament will hold its 57th edition in 2024 with a prize fund of US$2 million.

Indian Golf Association President Brijinder Singh said in a press conference held here, “I am proud to announce the Hero Indian Open 2024. This is our flagship event and we are looking forward to the excitement and camaraderie it will bring. Let us make this event memorable.”

He further added, “The Hero Indian Open stands as a pinnacle in the Indian golf calendar providing a platform where our top golfers can showcase their talents as well as compete and learn from the best players in the world Are. “The event continues to bring a blend of skill, sportsmanship and camaraderie that has fostered an environment that has elevated the standard of golf in India.”
