Pakistan Navy is now on the verge of becoming a force of 50 ships. He has chosen weapons over the welfare of his people. But we are ready to face any kind of challenge. The Indian Navy Chief gave information about the preparedness of the Indian Navy and said that 62 warships and 1 submarine are under construction in the country. The Navy still needs 31 more warships and 6 submarines. Apart from this, 60 utility helicopters are also required for the navy, one ship will be inducted into the navy only next year. Admiral Tripathi said that the government has approved the construction of two nuclear submarines in the country. This shows confidence in the weapons being manufactured in the country. Regarding the increasing threat of China in the Indian Ocean, the Navy Chief said that we are also keeping an eye on the navies of China and neighboring countries. The current location of their warships and research vessels is also being monitored. We know that China has ambitions to become a superpower. He said the deal for Rafale fighter aircraft and three Scorpion submarines for the Navy could be finalized next month.
Deal for 26 Rafale, 3 Scorpene submarines may happen next month
Navy Chief Admiral D.K. Tripathi also said India is expected to sign a separate contract with Russia next month for the purchase of 26 naval variant Rafale fighter jets and an additional three Scorpene submarines. The government has also approved two nuclear powered submarines. He said that the activities of the navies of China and Pakistan are being closely monitored.
