Major Radhika Sen: Indian women peacekeepers Major Radhika Sen and Naik Dhananjay Kumar Singh, who served in the United Nations (UN) mission in Congo, were awarded the military award. Who is Major Sen?
Major Sen was deployed to the Eastern Republic of Congo as the Commander of the Indian Rapid Deployment Battalion from March 2023 to April 2024. He originally hails from Himachal Pradesh. He was born in 1993 and joined the Indian Army eight years ago. After graduating in biotech engineering, Major Radhika Sen decided to join the Indian Army.
