The committee will talk to the Bangladeshi authorities to ensure the safety of Indian citizens, Hindus and other minority communities there.'

PM Modi has said, 'Congratulations to Professor Mohammad Yunus for the new responsibility. Hope the situation will be normal soon and the safety of Hindus and all other minority communities will be ensured. India is ready to work together with Bangladesh for peace, security and development.'
