This ATV is designed to ride on any type of terrain in the world. One of these is also deployed in Kutch, Gujarat. These ATVs include the Polaris Sportsman, Polaris RZR and the JSW-Gecko ATOR. They can climb, walk and run on any type of difficult climb, slope, rocky path.
The LAC region near Ladakh is a vast area covered with snow. For surveillance here, Indian soldiers should have modern weapons, uniforms, vehicles and other facilities. This vehicle is designed for light weight and high maneuverability. It is very easy to maneuver. It can run on any type of road.
patrolling started after a long time
These vehicles have been inducted to enable faster and long-range patrolling after the withdrawal of Indian-Chinese forces in the Depsang Plains and Demchok area. Patrolling has been started after a long dispute. Therefore, the need for such vehicles increases, which can carry soldiers on such dangerous routes.
