Reasi, March 6 (Hindustan Reporter) With the sole objective of promoting peace and harmony in the region, the Indian Army organized a Quami Ekta Meet on Wednesday at Gulabgarh in Reasi district.
Local Panchayat members, religious leaders and eminent persons of the area were invited during the programme. The event witnessed a positive exchange of ideas among the participants towards security aspects and creating a sense of religious harmony. A total of 18 citizens from different areas of Gulabgarh and surrounding villages participated in the said program.
The event also provided a platform for them to interact and put forward ideas for development in the region and create a sense of security and confidence. This initiative will increase harmony between people of different religions and will also strengthen the relationship between the army and the public.
