World Championships bronze medalist boxer Parveen Hooda has been suspended by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) for failing to report her whereabouts three times in the last 12 months, which could cost her her Olympic quota. Parveen, who secured a quota for the Paris Games in the women's 57 kg category at the Asian Games last year, has not informed about her stay from April 2022 to March 2023, which is mandatory as per WADA rules. The ban on Parveen will start this month and will continue till November 2025. Players included in the Registered Testing Pool (RTP) will have to provide their full name, address and all details regarding overnight stay. All information about where they are practicing, working or doing other regular activities will have to be given to WADA. Apart from this, he will have to give information about 60 minutes window and place where he can be available for dope test. Failure to provide details is considered a breach of WADA rules.
