Sharing her experiences during her tenure, Priti Patel, who was the Home Minister of Britain from 2019 to 2022, revealed that she had made every possible effort to send Indians living illegally in Britain back to their homeland. He claimed that during that time the Indian authorities had flatly refused to accept charter flights and were also very reluctant in verifying the identities and names of the citizens. The former British minister also says that he himself had officially signed the necessary documents related to the extradition of Nirav Modi in the year 2021, but despite this, he could not be sent to India due to legal complications.
