Canada India Tension: There is an ongoing dispute between Canada and India over the killing of Khalistan terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Tension between the two countries is continuously increasing. After Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, now the Canadian Police has also come down on Nephtai. The Trudeau government, which had so far failed to provide evidence of the Indian government's official involvement in any murder in Canada, again appeared before the media without evidence. However, India on Tuesday rejected Canada's efforts to link Indian agents in Canada to criminal gangs. Official sources said it is not at all true that Canada shared evidence with India in the Nijjar case. Its only purpose is to make vague allegations against India.

The sources also refuted Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's allegations that he falsely accused India of engaging in activities in his country, including targeting Canadian citizens.

Aim to put the burden of denial on India
On Canada's allegations against India in the Nijjar case, sources said, Canada's approach is to make vague allegations and put the burden of denial on India. Not only this, the claim of Canadian officials that Canada has presented credible evidence to India in the Nijjar case is also not true.

Source said, nothing new in PM Trudeau's press conference
Canadian PM Trudeau held a press conference yesterday. He did not say anything new. He was repeating the same old things. The main claim of all their officials is that credible evidence has been presented to India. His diplomat also repeated the same thing. Whereas this is not true at all. Canada's objective from the beginning has been to make vague allegations and put the burden of denial on India.

This is absurd..
He further said, 'In Prime Minister Trudeau's press conference, claims were made that some people have links with India. No specific information was provided in either case. There was also talk of making people accountable. But it was never clear who and for whom. It is absurd that after dealing so harshly with the High Commissioner last year, the Canadian government is now deciding to target him.

On Canadian police's allegation that Indian agents are using criminals in Canada to target the South Asian community, the source said no information has been provided on the subject.

This is the whole matter
It is noteworthy that amid the continuously increasing tension, Canada once again made an objectionable statement on Monday. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau alleged that India is making a 'fundamental mistake' in Canada. Canada's Minister of Public Safety and Intergovernmental Affairs Dominic LeBlanc and Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly were also present when he made the statement. His statement came after Canadian diplomats were expelled from India. In Ottawa, Trudeau said the upcoming meeting between the national security advisors of the two countries will prove important. He said he had also underlined its importance during his conversation with Prime Minister Modi last weekend.

Trudeau said India had made a fundamental mistake in thinking that they could engage in criminal activities such as murder or extortion against Canadians on Canadian soil. This cannot be accepted. The Canadian Prime Minister claimed that despite tensions, his country is committed to working with India.

What did Trudeau say while referring to the Nijjar massacre?
Describing India as an important democracy, Trudeau said that if relations between the two countries remain tense then the situation cannot be better than this. He said that India and Canada historically have deep trade relations. In such a situation, if there is instability regarding geopolitics then democratic countries will have to stay together. This was why when Canadian intelligence agencies suspected that Nijjar's murder was linked to India, we directly contacted the Indian government and took the initiative to resolve the matter through dialogue. He claimed that he did not want to get involved in this fight, but considering the seriousness of the incident, it could not be ignored.
