In this process, many innovations in systems, standards, methodologies and technology developments advanced the information technology sector.
Mr. Deshpande said that as undergraduates, postgraduates, PhDs, you are the lucky few who will open new frontiers through research, systems development and management of systems and organizations. Some of you will also become entrepreneurs. Your role is important and fundamental because the journey of computing is only partially complete. It would not be an exaggeration to say that from now on computers can enter our bodies in the form of specialist semiconductor chips. Where it is most needed. We can be monitored and treated there. And quantum computing has just begun. In the future, the problem of treating cancer, Alzheimer's and many other diseases may be solved.
