United Nations: Raising the voice of the Global South in the United Nations General Assembly, India said that now there will be neither gray talks nor any obstacles here and there regarding the permanent membership of the committee.

It is important that there is equal representation in the survey also. He said that as a leader of the Global South, it is India’s duty to speak for non-full representation (outside permanent membership in the Security Council) Asian, African and Latin American and Caribbean countries.
The Security Committee was expanded in 1965 but was limited to ‘temporary members’. Then the number of elected temporary members was increased from 6 to 10. So nothing more happened.
