United Nations: Raising the voice of the Global South in the United Nations General Assembly, India said that now there will be neither gray talks nor any obstacles here and there regarding the permanent membership of the committee.

Indian Ambassador P. said this. Speaking at the General Assembly session on Monday, Harish said that the time has come for reform in the UN Security Council. It is important that there is equal representation in the survey also. Along with this, he also indirectly drew the attention of the current member countries towards the use of veto by the five permanent member countries.

He said that as a leader of the Global South, it is India’s duty to speak for non-full representation (outside permanent membership in the Security Council) Asian, African and Latin American and Caribbean countries.

The Security Committee was expanded in 1965 but was limited to ‘temporary members’. Then the number of elected temporary members was increased from 6 to 10. So nothing more happened.

Along with this, while referring to India’s veteran diplomat P. Inter-Governmental Dialogue (IGN), Harish said that under that program only statements are published, there is no dialogue between them. No meaningful relationship is formed. But from where. Where discussion plays no concrete role. Therefore no time line is mentioned. There is no fixed program or goal.

Along with this, in his speech, Harish also talked about making special reforms in the security committee.
