Nawaz Sharif on India-Pakistan relations When Indian External Affairs Minister Subramaniam Jaishankar visited Pakistan for the SCO meeting, former PM Nawaz Sharif described his visit as a 'good start' and said India and Pakistan should leave the past behind and look into the future like energy and climate change. We must work together to solve problems. Both the countries should not waste another 75 years of friendship. However, amidst the talk of Nawaz Sharif's friendship, BSF has caught RDX and IED bombs coming from Pakistan through drones in Punjab. On the other hand, security forces have also conducted search operations in Poonch and Rajouri.

After Indian Foreign Minister Jaishankar's visit to Pakistan, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that India and Pakistan should leave the past behind and work together to solve the problems of the future. We have to start the relationship afresh from where we left off. The last 75 years have passed like this, 75 years should not be wasted.

Referring to Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Nawaz Sharif said that many such things have happened in the past which should not have happened. But there are many possibilities in the future. There was a time when there was a shortage of electricity in India, then PM Vajpayee had called me to buy electricity from Pakistan.

Referring to PM Modi, Nawaz Sharif said that PM Modi came to Rawalpindi to meet us, which was a pleasant surprise. He also talked to my mother for a long time. This was no small matter. He further said that, in my father's passport his place of birth is Amritsar (Punjab). The culture, tradition, language, food of India and Pakistan are similar. I am happy that even though the leaders of the two countries do not have good relations, there are very good relations between the people.

However, amidst the talk of Nawaz Sharif's friendship, the Border Security Force (BSF) has seized RDX and IED bombs sent by drone from Pakistan in Abohar in Fazilka district of Punjab. These bombs were ready for use. Pakistan was preparing for a major terrorist attack through this bomb, but BSF seized it before it could be delivered.

Meanwhile, police and army conducted joint search operations at various places to break the network of terrorists in the border districts of Poonch and Rajouri in Jammu and Kashmir. After receiving information about terrorists hiding in the forests of Poonch and Rajouri districts, a search operation was launched with the help of drones, sniffer dogs and helicopters.
