Washington, July 21 (HS). US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said that India is not going to give up its relationship with Russia. He said this in response to PM Modi's visit to Russia. Earlier, Sullivan said that the talks with India regarding the allegations of conspiracy to kill Sikh separatist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu were respectful and effective, as it is happening behind closed doors. He said that we have had constructive talks with India on this issue.

Sullivan was responding to a question on allegations related to the attempted murder of Pannu at the Aspen Security Forum in Colorado on Friday.

There is no concrete evidence of India deepening military and technological ties with Russia. He stressed that Moscow has become China's junior partner. It is not necessarily going to be India's great and reliable friend in some contingency in the future.

Sullivan said, “I think the biggest question is whether we see concrete evidence that India is deepening its military and technology ties with Russia. I did not see any concrete evidence from that visit that it was deepening. I did not see any achievements in that place.”
