India creates a record by receiving remittances of $111 billion against China's $51 billion

On the economic front, India has added another peacock feather to its success story by surpassing its neighbors including China and other countries of the world and has set a record at the global level. India to receive remittances of US$ 111 billion in the year 2022. India has become the first country in the world to cross the US$ 100 billion mark. Figures in this regard were released by the United Nations Migration Agency. On the basis of which it was found that in the year 2010 also, India had achieved the leading position in the world in terms of remittances with 53.48 billion US dollars. However, in the period 2010 to 2022, India has achieved unprecedented growth in remittances. In the year 2022, this figure has reached 111.22 billion US dollars. In other words, India has maintained its lead in terms of remittances while China has lagged behind. Because, in the year 2010, China received 52.46 billion US dollars in remittances and it ranked second in the world. At that time, the remittance gap between India and China was US$1.02 billion.

But by 2022, the gap widened dramatically and China's position in the global list of remittances also fell. China slipped to third place with remittances of US$ 51.00 billion in the year 2022. He was far behind even India. In 2010, the remittance gap between India and China was only US$1.02 billion, but this gap is expected to increase to US$60.22 billion in 2022.
