India beat Pakistan by 7 wickets, Mandhana-Shefali's explosive performance

India has started its campaign in the Women's Asia Cup 2024 with a win. The Indian women's team defeated Pakistan by seven wickets in its very first match. India won on the basis of strong innings of Smriti Mandhana and Shefali Verma. With this victory, India has reached the first position in the points table of Group-A with two points.

The second match of the Women's Asia Cup was played between India and Pakistan on Friday at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in Dambulla. In this match, Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first and scored 108 runs for 10 wickets in 19.2 overs. In reply, the Indian team scored 103 runs for 3 wickets in 14.1 overs and won the match by seven wickets.
