New York, June 10 (HS). In the Group-A match of the T20 World Cup, the Indian team defeated Pakistan by 6 runs. The heroes of India's victory were the Indian bowlers, who did not let Pakistan score even 120 runs in 120 balls. Pakistan's team could score only 113 runs by losing 7 wickets in 20 overs. Jaspreet Bumrah was chosen as the Man of the Match for his excellent bowling. Bumrah took three wickets by spending only 14 runs.
Chasing the target of 120 runs set by India, the Pakistan team started well. Captain Babar Azam (13 runs) and Mohammad Rizwan (33 runs) together added 26 runs for the first wicket. However, as soon as Babar was out, the team's run-scoring pace slowed down. The team scored only 57 runs in 10 overs after losing the wicket of Usman Khan (13 runs) after Babar.
