INDIANS ON SPACE STATION

Let us tell you that recently US Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti had given information that the US will send an Indian astronaut to the International Space Station by the end of this year. He said that a joint mission between US space agency NASA and the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) under the NISAR project can also be launched by the end of this year.

Attention will have to be given to research and technology

Eric Garcetti also said that India and the US need to focus on research and emerging technologies. In this way, both countries will be able to benefit from each other's strengths. He said that India spent as much on the Chandrayaan 3 mission last year as the US spent on the moon mission. Garcetti also said that the US has some capabilities that India still lacks. Both countries will have to increase mutual cooperation to strengthen their capabilities.
