Earlier, Anil Kumble had achieved this feat from India's side. Ashwin dismissed Ben Duckett, Ollie Pope, Joe Root, Fox and James Anderson in England's second innings. Ashwin has achieved his 35th 5 wicket haul in the 99th test match.
Whereas Anil Kumble had achieved this feat 35 times in 132 Tests. Harbhajan Singh did this 25 times in 103 test matches. Now Ashwin will have a chance to leave Sir RJ Headley and Shane Warne behind in this matter. In Test cricket, Headley has achieved this big feat 36 times and Shane Warne 37 times.
