IND vs ENG: India won 17th consecutive test series, Rohit defeated Dravid

India won the fourth test match against England by five wickets. The Indian team, captained by Rohit Sharma, had a target of 192 runs on the Ranchi ground, which it achieved on the fourth day itself. At one time Rohit's brigade was in trouble but Shubman Gill (52 not out) and Dhruv Jurel (39 not out) dashed England's hopes by making an unbroken partnership of 72 runs. India has taken an unassailable 3-1 lead in the five-match series. With this, India has made many records in its name.

17th consecutive test series win

India has won its 17th consecutive Test series on home ground. India last lost a series on home soil in 2012/13, when England won 2–1. After India, Australia holds the record for most series wins at home with 10 consecutive Test wins from 1994 to 2001. Australia repeated this feat once again during 2004 and 2008. Let us tell you that England had defeated India by 28 runs in the first test played in Hyderabad. This is the eighth time that India has won a series after being 0-1 down.
