KANPUR TEST: India has won the test series against Bangladesh 2-0. India has won the first Chennai and now Kanpur test. India's left-handed opener Yashasvi Jaiswal scored half-centuries in both the innings.
India has created a new history in Test cricket by getting the result in the Test match played in Kanpur after just one and a half day's play. In this match, India made the record of scoring the fastest 50, 100, 150, 200 and 250 runs in Test cricket. In this match, India won the toss and decided to bowl first. Due to rain on the first day of the match, very little play could be played. After this, washing was done on the second and third day. On the fourth day, India bowled out Bangladesh for 233 runs.
Coming to bat, India batted stormily and scored 285 runs. In which Yashasvi Jaiswal and Lokash Rahul scored half-centuries. After this, India lost two more wickets to Bangladesh in the fourth day's play itself. On the last fifth day, in the morning session, with the help of strong bowling by Ashwin, Bumrah and Jadeja, India bowled out Bangladesh for 146 runs in the second innings. These three bowlers took 3-3 wickets and Akashdeep took one wicket.
Batting in the last innings, the Indian cricket team had to score 95 runs. In which Yashasvi Jaiswal once again hit a fifty. Virat Kohli remained not out after scoring 28 runs.
