Vaibhav's amazing record:

In this match, Lal of Bihar has broken many records by scoring a century in just 58 balls. Vaibhav is now second after England batsman Moeen Ali in terms of scoring the fastest century. Indian batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored 104 runs with the help of 14 fours and four sixes in just 62 balls during an innings in the Under-19 Test. With this, Vaibhav created a new record for scoring the fastest century by any Indian player.

Talking about this Test match, India had initially reacted strongly to Australia's score of 293 runs in the first innings. After a great start, India were all out for 296 runs due to poor performance from the middle and lower order. Till the time of writing the news in the third session of the second day, Australia's score is 67 runs for 1 wicket in 15 overs.

Debut in Ranji also:

Vaibhav is the same batsman who made his debut in Ranji Trophy 2024 at the age of just 12 years and 284 days. He became the fourth youngest player to receive this title, breaking the records of many players including Sachin Tendulkar.

Started cricket innings at the age of nine:

Vaibhav's batting style is similar to Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan. His various shots like the square drive, deep mid-wicket pull and cover drive in his innings against Australia reminded many of the great players. Suryavanshi's cricket journey started at the age of nine. Vaibhav got his initial coaching from his father Sanjeev Suryavanshi. His father's passion for cricket and his own dedication have inspired Vaibhav to achieve remarkable success at such a young age and innings like this have made Vaibhav a promising talent for Indian cricket.
