CBDT has directed the Income Tax officers to complete the administrative work on time.
As March is coming to an end, the income tax returns of many taxpayers are pending. Also, many tasks of their financial year are pending. Apart from this, bank holidays are coming continuously. Due to this, orders have been given to keep the income tax offices open till the end of March so that the taxpayers do not have to face any kind of problem.
Advance tax, corporate tax figures of taxpayers will be declared by the end of March. After this, tax income will be declared by 31st March.
At the same time, due to tax payment by taxpayers across the country, sometimes the problem of server down occurs at the end of March. Therefore, CBDT appeals to the taxpayers to pay taxes on time. At present no term extension has come forward. So you may have to pay tax along with heavy fine.
