Mirzapur, 7 September (HS). A meeting of the Department of Agricultural Marketing and Agricultural Foreign Trade and the Foodgrain Millers Trade Association was held on Saturday at the Deputy Director's office in Pipardar under the chairmanship of Deputy Agriculture Director Vikesh Kumar. He said that incentive grants will be given for exporting rice.
Senior Agricultural Marketing Inspector Sanjay Kumar told about export and GI tag. On completion of agricultural export oriented cluster formation, registration and export obligation, an incentive of Rs. 10 lakh will be given in five years for the first 50 to 100 hectares under the development block limit and an additional incentive of Rs. 6 lakh for every additional 50 hectares of area.
Similarly, incentive grant will be paid on 30% export in the first year, 40% on export and thereafter 15% every year for the next four years. For application of agricultural export based cluster, one can contact the senior agricultural marketing inspector of the district.
During this, Purvanchal Vyapar Mandal President Mukesh Sahu, Mirzapur Brass Industry Association Secretary Ashish Singh, Vyapar Mandal District President Sagar Pal, Vyapar Mandal Member Rambali, Adhiraaj Dutt of M/s Adhiraaj Export, District Advisor Dr. Sudhir Srivastava etc. were present.
