Haridwar, March 04 (HS). A four-day regional workshop of self-help groups formed under the National Rural Livelihood Mission was inaugurated at Patanjali University on Monday. In the workshop, training on digitalization of data will be given through the app.
Patanjali Yogpeeth co-founder Acharya Balkrishna, Uttarakhand State Rural Livelihood Mission Chief Executive Officer Manuj Goyal, Finance Controller Bhupendra Prasad Kandpal, Additional Chief Executive Officer Pradeep Kumar Pandey and National Mission Manager Prabhat inaugurated the workshop by lighting the lamp. The workshop was addressed virtually by Smriti Saran, Joint Secretary, Government of India, and Nivedita Prasad, Deputy Secretary. The workshop is being participated by 10 states of the country namely Uttar Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Ladakh, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, Andaman-Nicobar, Jammu-Kashmir, Uttarakhand.
While inaugurating the workshop, Acharya Balkrishna expressed his gratitude for selecting Patanjali as the National Resource Organization. Discussing the digitalization of the work being done by Patanjali, he said that the National Rural Livelihood Mission will cooperate in digitalizing the work of women self-help groups through Lok OS app.
Chief Executive Officer of the Mission, Manuj Goyal said that as per the resolution of the Prime Minister, the Mission is working rapidly on Lakhpati Didi and digitalization of data.
The managers of the National Rural Livelihood Mission and master trainers from Hyderabad as well as state and district level personnel are participating in the workshop.
