Ayodhya, 16 October (Hindus). The administration has geared up to make a record for the eighth time on the occasion of Deepotsav in Ramnagari Ayodhya and the countdown has also started from Wednesday. Now just waiting for the main event to be held on 30th October.
To make the Deepotsav historic, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University has started the marking work on the ghats of Ram Ki Paidi with more than two dozen personnel. On Wednesday morning, Vice Chancellor Prof. Under the guidance of Pratibha Goyal, Deputy Registrar of the University, Mohammad Sahil took charge of the marking for the second time. He met Dr., Associate Professor of the Department of Microbiology. Along with Ranjan Singh and his staff, marking work was done on the ghats to decorate 28 lakh lamps for lighting 25 lakh lamps on the day of Diwali. Deputy Registrar Sahil said that the marking work on the ghats will be completed in a week. Under the direction of the Chief Minister and the efficient management of the Vice Chancellor, the eighth Deepotsav of Ramnagari will be more grand. Volunteers from universities, colleges, inter colleges and NCOs have once again taken command to break backward records and re-register the name of Ramnagari Ayodhya in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Volunteers will be given an ID card equipped with QR code.
Deepotsav Nodal Officer Prof. Sant Sharan Mishra said that the marking work on 55 ghats of Ram Ki Paidi will be completed in a week. He told that by October 20, the distribution of I-cards of volunteers will start from late evening. 30 thousand volunteers will be given QR code equipped ID cards for lighting 25 lakh lamps and laying 28 lakh lamps on Ram Ki Pauri. Many features have also been included to make this I card foolproof. With this, there will be no duplication in the ID cards of the volunteers. He told that the name, photo, mobile number, place of deployment and serial number of the volunteers will be mentioned in the I-card equipped with this QR code. Apart from this, the I-card will have the signatures of the authorized officer of the district administration, Deepotsav nodal officer along with the authorized institution or unit.
Rampath and Dharampath will also be illuminated
Dharampath and Rampath of Ayodhya will also be illuminated in the Deepotsav. For this, Taj Radio and Electric Company of Lucknow has been given the responsibility of arranging lighting. Electricians have set up a camp near Ram Katha Park and are working on preparing the lights. Preparations are being made to arrange grand lighting in an area of more than 2 kilometers along Rampath and Dharampath. The pillar is being prepared with decorative wall, electric gate and artificial electric lights. The work will be completed by 25th October.
18 tableaux will be displayed on the festival of lights
Tourism Officer Rajendra Prasad Yadav said that various types of tableaux will also be organized in the Deepotsav. The tender process for preparing the tableaux has been completed by the Information and Tourism Department. 18 tableaux are being made to stage the Ramayana period in Saket College on 30th October, out of which 11 tableaux will be prepared by the Information Department and seven tableaux by the Tourism Department.
