Inauguration of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Temple in Bhiwandi

Mumbai – The first Shivaji temple set up in Bhiwandi will showcase the heroic saga of Hindu Swaraj’s father and great king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. This temple is built in the shape of the fort.

A grand statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj has been installed in the temple. Arun Yogiraj, a sculptor of Lord Rama in the Ram temple in Ayodhya, has made a statue of Shivaji Maharaj.

This temple has been built as a fort in a huge area of ​​two and a half thousand square meters at a cost of 7 to 8 crores. The height of the main entrance of the temple is 42 feet. There are five urns at the top of the temple. Above the sanctum sanctorum is a 42 -foot -high assembly pavilion. Along with this, a circular tower has also been built.

Inside the temple, sculptures can be seen showing the history of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in 36 sections. The columns inside the temple have complex carvings.
